The service and who offers it
Rankift (rankift.com) provides a backlink-data REST API and a free online explorer. The operator is Rankift. Contact goes through your account page.
The data comes from our own crawler and our own index, refreshed about once a month. It is a snapshot, not a live feed, and it can be incomplete.
Accounts and keys
Sign-in is through a Google account. You are responsible for what happens under your account and your keys.
Keep keys secret. If one leaks, revoke it in the dashboard at once, because calls made with it are billed to you.
Credit and payments

Suspension and closing an account
You can stop using Rankift whenever you like. Close the account from your account page.
We may suspend an account that abuses the service, puts the infrastructure at risk or fails to follow the rules above. Serious or repeated abuse can end in permanent closure.
What you may not do
Do not resell raw responses as a competing data service. Do not attack or overload the API. Do not share keys between unrelated parties, and do not use the service to break the law or the rules of other sites. Simple enough. Keys are for your own use, and each account answers for the calls made with its keys, whoever actually typed them.
We may rate-limit or suspend an account that breaks these rules, and we will explain why when we can.
Accuracy, liability and changes
We do not promise rankings, traffic or any search result. Domain Rating is our own metric and differs from Ahrefs DR or Moz DA, so use judgement before acting on any number. Be careful.
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the credit you hold.
We may update these terms and the service. The date above shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept it. Questions go through your account page.
